Crystal Springs - Magnolia, Tx + Kayleigh & Ryan

The drive to the venue yesterday was a frightening one. Not only was it raining; it was blinding rain. Roads were beyond slick. It was not looking very wonderful for a wedding day....Until the venue was a mile away. The skies cleared and the rain stopped and there had not been a drop at Crystal Springs! The gloomy weather surrounding us only made for a cooler and breezy September evening which is rare in our part of the world as you all know!

Kayleigh & Ryan are two of the most relaxed people I have had the honor of working with, along with their many friends and family members in attendance. Weekday weddings can often be smaller and a bit 'low-key' at times....This was not one of those days. This day was full of more smiles than one could ever count. The dance floor was often full. There were laughs, there was dancing and there was a large number of people showing a ton of love for one awesome couple.

Kayleigh & Ryan - I wish you nothing but the best in your future together and it was an honor to be there on your wedding day. I hope you all enjoy these few samples from your day while we work on the rest!

Houston Wedding Photography - Shirley Acres + Kara & Jordan

The second wedding of this past weekend and the second couple that happened to be Aggie Grads as well! Kara and Jordan are simply an adorable couple with amazing family and friends.

Kara was one of the most aid back brides I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. Every step of the day was simply calm and happy....just as a wedding day should be. Jordan was laid back as well and their were no nerves to be seen from anyone. This is to be expected from a pair of high school sweethearts, something not often seen these days!

Shirley Acres held a quaint and beautiful outdoor ceremony with a wonderfully arranged reception that followed and the day was about as perfect as one could hope for.

We wish only the absolute best to Kara and Jordan for their future and have sincere gratitude for being chosen for capturing the memories of their day! Your family was awesome, your friends as well and the two of you are amazing! I hope you enjoy the below 'sneak-peek' into your day while we work on the rest!

Houston Wedding Photography - Alyssa & Tyler - The Tuscany Villa

I looked forward to this particular wedding for a long time. I met the mother of the bride at an open house we were both working back at the beginning of the year. Laura is with Petals By Design (They’re FANTASTIC by the way!) and was at the table beside me. Only a couple of weeks later we had a booked wedding day and I had not even met the kids…something I rarely do.

The first meeting with Alyssa & Tyler was their engagement session…Being Aggie grads, no better place than College Station and the place they met. Anyone could see, immediately, how much love these two held for each other. Their smiles came so easy and they simply had a light in their eyes when together.

The wedding was held at The Tuscany Villa in Katy, Tx and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Everything about the day was fantastic with so much love among the many family members and friends.

To Laura…Mom…I have to thank you for trusting your family’s memories with my team and I. It was such a pleasure to be in attendance, even more so to do what we so enjoy doing.

Alyssa & Tyler…You two have some so special and is is readily seen from the moment you’re seen together. Never lose that! It was an honor to spend your day with you and we all wish you the absolute best for your future.

I hope you all enjoy these few samples from the day!

As usual..Thanks to Lawrence Moody for the fantabulous video skills! And to Joel Gutowski for your awesome second shooting! I couldn’t do what I do without you guys.

Houston Wedding Photography - Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Liliana & David

Emotion and Beauty....The two things I strive to capture more than any others on any particular wedding day. Friday's wedding was not lacking in either department during either stretch of the day!

One of the longer days I have spent with any couples, Liliana & David's day began bright and early for make-up. I won't lie, when I drove up to a home studio for her session I was not expecting much. Upon entering the door, however, those thoughts changed immediately! Sheila Ybarra has a beautiful studio in her home and does amazing work as well. If the rest of the day held what the make-up session did, this day was going to be a great one.

You can't find a church that is more beautiful than Sacred Heart in Downtown Houston. The couples home church is, quite simply, beautiful and photographs tremendously well. These two would have done so wherever they had chosen though! From the church we drove across town to La Fontaine in Northwest Houston. This was a venue I had not been to before and, once again, I had no clue what to expect. Upon entering, however; the venue was absolutely gorgeous and decorated beautifully. Somewhere around 300 people had the time of their lives on this night and celebrated non-stop.

I am not sure if I have ever met a person that smiled as much as Lili did through her entire day. It was contagious as well, as everyone in attendance wore that same smile for the duration of the night. Lili...your cheeks must have been sore this weekend!

Lili & David - I can't tell you how honored I am to have spent the day with you, your family and friends. Everyone was simply wonderful and made our entire team feel like family as well. We wish you both the best through your future together and you will always remain in our prayers. I hope you all enjoy these few samples from the day while we work on the rest!

Make-Up:   Make Up By Sheila - Sheila Ybarra is awesome! Check her out and don't hesitate to book her!

Houston Wedding Photography - House Plantation - Shea & Dylan

Just a week later, we ventured back to House Plantation this Saturday to spend the day with Shea & Dylan. They promised a great night and a great group of people but we really had no idea what we were in store for.

Shea and Dylan are a truly special couple. Not only do they have a tremendous love for each other that is easily seen, they have love for everyone and it shows in all they do and, especially, their friendships.  House Plantation was packed on this day. That does not always mean a big party but in this case; their friends and family were there to celebrate and they all did just that. From what we witnessed it is a guarantee that every single person in attendance had a great time. Huge smiles, tremendous dancing and great times were everywhere you turned....That meant our job was pretty easy. With the beautiful venue that House Plantation is, the wonderful family and friends all having a blast and a couple as good looking as these two.....Pretty much a photographer's dream!

Shea & Dylan....I can not say thank you enough for trusting in me to capture all of the memories of your day. It has been an honor just getting to know both of you and I wish you both the absolute best throughout your lives together. Your awesome people...Don't ever change!

I hope you enjoy these few samples...we sure enjoyed being there to capture them! Even more, have a great honeymoon! You guys rock!

hanks to Joel, my fabulous associate & second shooter..You rock as well! House Plantation...Pam & Connie; any couple is lucky to have you guys on their day.

Make-up was provided by Marc Harvey Beauty and, ladies, this guy is Fantastic!
